Loading failed for script - sometimes

Post by SteveComstock »

I have a JavaScript file on two separate websites of my own.

On one site, it works perfectly.

On the other site, I consistently get the message:

Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://www....”.

(file name omitted for security)

This message gives no clue why the loading failed, so I don't know how to fix the problem.

Having trouble signing in to Firefox support; request password reset; get email; enter new password; message: now you can log in; when I try, error message: password incorrect; repeat over and over; not good.

No. You are now posting to the Firefox Support forum. I was not referring to support.mozilla.org.

Is there a difference in whether it is "same origin" or "cross origin" as between the two sites?

Any unusual results showing in the Network Monitor? https://developer.mozilla.org/docs/Tool ... rk_Monitor

Well, it could be. The site where it works is a very simple, traditional configuration.

The site where it is not working, access denversistercities.org/takayama is mapped to trainersfriend.com/takayama,
the first site is 'https', the second is 'http'

I'll try using the network monitor and see what I can find.

thanks.
