What providers should be listed in about:url-classifier?

Post by Foxinabox »

If you go to about:url-classifier in Firefox, what do you see in the "Providers" section?

I see "mozilla" and "google4", both with recent "last update times". But I also see "google" with a "last update time" that is over 2 years old.

Is this normal? Is this what others see as well?

Are these providers part of Firefox's Safe Browsing system that mark sites as safe or dangerous as defined in https://support.mozilla.org/kb/how-does ... ction-work ?

I see this:

Provider Last update time Next update time Back-off time Last update status Update

google4 Thu Jan 03 2019 07:36:49 GMT-0800 (Pacific Standard Time) Thu Jan 03 2019 08:07:12 GMT-0800 (Pacific Standard Time) N/A N/A

mozilla Thu Jan 03 2019 07:06:57 GMT-0800 (Pacific Standard Time) Thu Jan 03 2019 08:06:57 GMT-0800 (Pacific Standard Time) N/A N/A

google N/A N/A N/A N/A

This is a profile I built for Quantum. If you migrated an older profile, your "google" row might have data from ancient times.
