Hi,
my mouse is quite sensitive, and if I click strongly on the left on a tab also the middle wheel button detects a click; and this causes the browser to close a tab. So I would like to disable tab closing by wheel/middle button click.
I could find an option on about:config.
How can this be achieved ? Or, if not present, can it be added as a config switch ?
Thanks,
Marco

I didn't see a browser.tabs.* preference in the click handler in the tabbrowser.xml file.
view-source:chrome://browser/content/tabbrowser.xml
I guess it's not possible to disable the feature.

Hi,
From your description, it sounds like you have a minor "alignment" defect with your mouse.
May I suggest that you dis-assemble it & check the mechanical parts are not interfering with
each other?
The individual buttons/micro switches should not have any affect on any other button.....err...micro switch.

You know, I am so tired of these sensitive mice.
They just need to grow up already!
If they can't stand the heat, let them get out of the fire!
