How do you keep a sideloaded extension loaded over restarts?
Mozilla and Google recently banned a popular free speech commenting extension, how can I sideload an unsigned extension without it getting removed with every browser restart?

ban was sure for reason, please name of that extension!
and no, extension signing is mandatory to get loaded, there is only exception when using developer or nightly but those are no recommended for regular users, they have side effects.

Most open source forks of Firefox can use unsigned extensions permanently. But as mentioned, extensions, especially unsigned ones can be a privacy or security risk.

That was going to be my next question, why don't I see its removal here, Blocked Add-ons or https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3A ... tnG=Search?AMO is riddled with 'approved' crap...

This persists, so far ?, https:// github.com /andreicristianpetcu/gab-dissenter-extension/releases/.
Now I know nothing of this (extension) & this might just be repacked, or the original, or worse, no clue.
But it is signed & does install into a "regular" FF 66. (I think that's what I have.)
Somewhere along the line, you might have to "hack" blocklist.xml or similar?

omg cry us a river - does it really prevents free speech when missing an extension? seriously? life goes on without.
