I have FF 56 and would like to know when I am able to use it as I had it setup as before.
I know about 52.9 ESR version and have tried it. It fixed some issues and created others. Went back to my original 56 version.
From what I understood FF team were working on it and was supposed to resolve the issue within a day or so!!!!
Currently I am forced to use Vivaldi to access Mozilla FF support website because FF is useless for me at the moment. I bet the competition is having a ball on this.
Thanks
What is the status of extensions fix?

Mozilla has been looking to make a update to help those who are still using Firefox 52 ESR up to say Firefox 60.0 Release but not 60.0 ESR since it is still supported and got its own updates recently (60.6.2esr and 60.6.3esr).
Many are still using the old EOL Firefox 52.9.0esr simply because they have the old EOL Windows XP or Vista in use still and cannot run 53.0 and later. Windows 7 and later users can use current Firefox
Mozilla has their own community forum at support.mozilla.org for say a decade now as people were asking for a more official place over using this forum before.

This is not THE Mozilla support site as it is a independent community forum owned and run by one person. Desktop Firefox is not the only thing supported on forums.mozillaZine.org http://www.mozillazine.org/about/firefox_fan2008 wrote:Currently I am forced to use Vivaldi to access Mozilla FF support website because FF is useless for me at the moment.

A legacy extension has been developed to implement the new certificate fix in Firefox 52-56-60(non-ESR), but there were issues rolling it out. In theory you can grab the one listed in the relevant "bug" but I haven't needed to try it myself: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.c ... 549604#c51

Super.
Thanks for pointing me to the hotfix extension, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=9063605, jscher2000.
After downloading and manually applying the extension to FF 56.0.2 all is well now.
