One of my laptops has two partitions, both with W7 64bit installations.
Both partitions have Firefox 63 or 64 installed.
One partition\W7 boots and runs fine. I can't boot the other now, but when I could, it frequently froze and was generally troublesome so I no longer use it.
However, I can easily access it from the good partition, so I haven't deleted it because it contains a lot of data that I need.
I'm trying to retrieve the Firefox profile from the bad partition because it contains bookmarks with details of several websites that I want to revisit.
Problem is that I'm unable to copy the profile back to my working partition.
Regular copying doesn't work, neither does saving it to a zip file; the process freezes part way through.
Note, I'm not trying to copy the profile straight into the 'good' Firefox, I just want to copy it so it's a) safe and b) so I can try and retrieve data from it without fear of losing it entirely.
Question: Perhaps I only need one sub-folder of the profile? In which case might it copy more easily?
Advice, please.

Re: Profile recovery problem
You only need some data files in the main profile location in "AppData\Roaming".
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
