As multipurpose extensions, those will be hard to replace. Aris now has css files to be as much as possible a replacement for classic theme restorer: https://github.com/Aris-t2/CustomCSSforFx
For the session saving portion of tab mix plus https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... n-manager/
Also see here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... extension/
Tabs on bottom or however you want to call it cannot be done with an extension. It can be done with userChrome.css tweaks, but it will likely break with most versions when released. If you can't abandon it, see here

thank you Kerft

I'll continue with the new FF for a few more days
I am very irritated, another thing i miss now is when I choose a link, it replaces the web page open instead of automatically opening in a new web tab/page

I am not a computer knowledgeable bloke, so most of what you kindly referred me to is way above my pay grade <smiles>

thnx again

To open links in tabs automatically see https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... h-new-tab/
There are videos showing how to create userChrome.css and explaining it at https://www.userchrome.org/
