Is there a way to open a shortcut on my desktop in a private window for a specific page firefox?

That can possibly be done with the Legacy extension Private Tab since you use Wterfox.

I've seen a number of references to starting the firefox homepage in private mode by making a slight change to the shortcut's URL --
"You can also add -private to the end of firefox.exe in the target for your Firefox shortcut. This can be found in the shortcut properties, if you right click and select properties."
I'm wondering if this would work for a shortcut to your bookmarked site.

(Heh. Just don't try that if you don't have a default profile set . Or is it, if you are running a non-default Profile & expect the link to open in it?)
