I updated to Firefox 70 today, and I've noticed a change in the default colours for text links.
Before FF70, the unclicked link colour was a nice bright blue, the same as it's been since the text link standards were first set. Now the colour seems to be changed to a very dark blue, hard to distinguish from pure black non-link text. And depending on the page colour, it's not always easy to distinguish it from the clicked link colour, either (I'm not sure if it's the same dull red colour as it was before).
Is this an actual change, and is there a way to change it back (perhaps with an about:config setting tweak)?

Pretty sure the setting you want is in
about:config
browser.visited_color is the visited one
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.anchor_color
Now I could be wrong been a while since I needed to play with this stuff

Re: Text link colours changed in FF70?
I would reset all the preferences in the colors dialog.
text - browser.display.foreground_color
background - browser.display.background_color
unvisited links - browser.anchor_color
visited links - browser.visited_color
use system colors - browser.display.use_system_colors
underline links - browser.underline_anchors
override the colors - browser.display.document_color_use

That's it! Only needed to reset two settings, browser.display.background_color and browser.display.use_system_colors back to default (#FFFFFF and false), and my browser behaviour was returned to its pre-v70 appearance. Thanks!morat wrote: I would reset all the preferences in the colors dialog.
I wonder how this happened; I don't use any colour-changing plugins.
