Since updating to Firefox 70.0, very often when I start it, all addons are not working. I see them in the toolbar but they are not working and when I open their preferences, no settings show up. The same persists when updating to 70.0.1. I started with a brand new profile, and the problem appeared there too, so it doesn't seem to be related to the profile.

The only way to fix it is start Firefox, and if the addons are not working, to disable and enable all of them. This is on a MacOS 10.14.6. The addons are NoScript, uBlock origin and HTTPS everywhere, all being the latest versions. Firefox is running in Private mode and all addons are allowed to run there.

Using the same profiles (old or the newly created) with 68.2.0ESR (afrer adjusting for the last version in compatibility.ini) works just fine.

Any ideas what is going on and how to fix it?

I saw that very same thing just moments ago (though in FF 72), https://forums.informaction.com/viewtop ... 39#p101239.

Fix, there is no fix, as there is nothing wrong. Quantum, & webextensions, are peeerrrrfect :-).

I guess, there is not much I can do besides sticking to 68.2.0 ESR for as much as I can.
