Starting two days ago, if I search for something that is or is also a book, TV show, or similar product, then the Google search results are quickly obliterated by a big gray rectangle that I can't make go away. I assume it's a popup ad, only my ad blocker has blocked it leaving the rectangle.
Any clues how to get rid of it? Note that this does not occur if I try the same search in Chrome, IE, or even the dreadful MS Edge. I have not changed any settings recently. Thanks.

Re: Google popup
The behavior, at least for now, has ceased. I can't explain it. Perhaps Google ceded to Amazon ads but relented under immediate feedback. I'll let you know if it returns.
