Privacy
I run Firefox in private mode, never remember history. The only problem with that is if I have a new site that I need to install a password on, it wont remember it. So I go into "Options" and change the setting to remember history and restart Firefox but then it wont connect to any sites. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Privacy
Does Firefox say it can't find the server, or the connection timed out, or there is a secure connection error, etc.?iflog wrote:So I go into "Options" and change the setting to remember history and restart Firefox but then it wont connect to any sites. What am I doing wrong?

Unbelievable. I changed to remember history again (for the umpteenth time) and I was able to connect to my site. I entered my name and password and connected but Firefox did not ask me to save the login. Grrrrrrrrrrrr. Whats going on here?

You can't store a new login when you are in PB mode in current Firefox release (this may change in future Firefox version), so you need to start Firefox in regular mode to add a new password.
