Double chevrons at end of addons bar
These chevrons link to the "more tools" overflow listing of add-ons, but this link is of no interest to me. Is there any way of eliminating or hiding these chevrons?

Re: Double chevrons at end of addons bar
You want to empty the overflow list so Firefox has no reason to show an icon for it, or you want to hide the icon regardless of whether there is an overflow list or not?
You can empty the overflow list using right-click > Remove from Toolbar on each item.
You can hide the icon, presumably, using userChrome.css

Re: Double chevrons at end of addons bar
Thanks for your replies. I guess my question was not sufficiently clear. I use the overflow listing but rarely need to refer to it, and hence the double chevrons take up space without any purpose useful to me. Jscher suggests my chrome.css file could solve, but does not say what entry could do so.

How are you going to use it when you need it if you hide it?Odin2 wrote:I use the overflow listing but rarely need to refer to it, and hence the double chevrons take up space without any purpose useful to me.

(2nd attempt)
I don't see any chevrons or double chevrons at the top of my FF page. To me, a "chevron" is either a "V" or a "^". Does the OP mean the 3 dots at the upper right of the FF page?

Skuddle, here are the double chevrons [they're a bit taller and closer together on my screen]:
>>
Jscher, when I ever want to consult my overflow add-ons I simply bring up the Customize screen. I've overflowed these add-ons because I expect no need to view their properties.

Double chevrons:
What I'm referring to is two carets next to each other--in this case pointing to the right. You can see a single chevron [pointing up] in the Windows 10 task bar as the icon for "Show hidden icons."
