EDIT POST:
Since it's clear the problem becomes from Ad blockers extensions I'm asking here how to overcome the problem, I want AD block but I can't choose which is ok now, I've tried Ad Block plus (last update over 2 months ago) and AdBlocker Ultimate (updated 6 days ago but didn't yet correct the problem). What do you suggest?
ORIGINAL POST:
Hi, I've just upgrade my Win10 from 1803, also the video adapter driver was update, FF still at same version 76.0.1 but I've noticed much mre SPU usage especially when I open a new tab and it loads a site, it can go to 100% all cores for some seconds, when it takes too much I need to close FF and the CPU goes to very low levels 2-5%. There is usually a more CPU used even when a page is loaded and without anymations. I believe there is a bug in FF with latest Win10 or latest Intel HD 620 drivers

The problem may be connected to the bad new driver for my Wireless AC 3168 netwtw04.sys, I got 2 times a BSOD adter wake up from st-by. I rolled back of the last year driver, seems better, I'll post here is solved

Re: After upgrade to 1909 much more CPU usage
the problem still, maybe it's because too many tabs opened (about 900), but it does the problem also when I close, wait for it really closes, and open it back.. after some time. The cpu use sometime fgoes to 100% for some minutes, than it goes quite. I have a I7 7500U.. not a really low end CPU, and before update windows to 1909 i've never suffered this problem. Also with the last update of Firefox the problem still
I have 16GB of RAM and usually no more than 65% of it used, Firefox doesn't semms to take advance of all the memory available too

Did you identify the specific extension that caused the problems?

Re: After upgrade to 1909 much more CPU usage
I believe is the AdBlocker plus, since I switch it off the cpu is much less loaded. Also with AdBlocker ultimate, lot of more ram being used, before I was about 56% of my 16GB used, not I reached 98%! There is something wrong with latest version of firefox, win10 1909 and these adBlockers which seems not being updated recently

Hi,
Instead of Ad Block Plus or Ultimate,
you might like to try the better alternative...
uBlock Origin > https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... ck-origin/
Uses less resources etc...

Do you have more then 1 ad blocker installed, running - simultaneously?
Fire 750, bring back 250.
