That was to easy to understand the first time so i taut you ment somethin completly different....now that i know, that feat i dont feel any need to use in my current operation anyway

Database storage=the same profile folders i have mentioned in this thread right? (in none technical language ;))

If there are no useful files on disc...why did i? copy and paste the session files to the new profile in the first place? according to this guide
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_ ... _-_Firefox

jscher2000 wrote:You need to export the session(s) to a file from Tab Session Manager before you can import the session(s) into a different profile.

Okay i suppose you refere to exporting a json files to HD and then import with tab session manager, i should be able to succed with that on my own tommorow :)

jscher2000 wrote:* Firefox does not have a feature to import session history files. If you need to decompress a .jsonlz4 file, I have a tool here: https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/scrounger.html
A yes i remember that tool now, however i wanna make it harder for myself...and also i have so manu sessions its to consuming to URL-copy/paste

URL copy/paste? After you use Save List you get an HTML page of clickable links.

Look here
https://imgur.com/a/Bnya6CM
as you can see i have hundreds of tabs for Chrome that later on needs same treatment as Firefox 30 tabs

Its a problem if i would have been forced to click on each link to open them one by one....lucky for me
i forced myself to copy and paste them from that open windows to inside tab session managers feat
"Importera webbadresslista"
Maybe there was an easier way....

I must also ask, what under-folder in the profile contains?
all sesions created with tab session manager

This items below is not a list over each session i have saved inside tab session mananger

previous.jsonlz4
recovery.jsonlz4
upgrade.jsonlz4

right now i have relied on "previous" and loaded it into that scrounger

That seems fine. There are extensions that will open all the links in a selection if you need something like that.

I must also ask, what under-folder in the profile contains?
all sesions created with tab session manager

\storage\default\moz-extension+++[UUID that is unique to your Firefox]

recovery.jsonlz4
upgrade.jsonlz4

Those are Firefox's own files, not the extension's files. Extensions do not have the right to read/write the sessionstore-backups folder.

One major victory seem to be that the delayed session doublete is gone
with the new profile and new installation of tab session manager

But the profile stil cant handlle alot of tabs that contains flash-movies withough freezing up collectively
afters some hours of the session-start, basicly a computer problem i guess is the conclusion

jscher2000 wrote:That seems fine. There are extensions that will open all the links in a selection if you need something like that.

you got any names of them?

\storage\default\moz-extension+++[UUID that is unique to your Firefox]

I dont understand, i have 7 of thoose "moz-extension+++" folders
and they only contain a SQ-LITE file on 48 kb

This in contrast to my profiles Session tab manager installation
with maybe 100 saved sessions inside from 3 months back

If i wanna move and import this sessions to a new profile
how do i extract (i guess) those SQ-LITE files?

Those are Firefox's own files, not the extension's files. Extensions do not have the right to read/write the sessionstore-backups folder.

So firefox only save the latest session, shall i keep using previous or are recovery and upgrade any different?

recovery.jsonlz4/recovery.baklz4 are your currently live Firefox session, or if Firefox is closed, left over from your previous session. upgrade is a snapshot taken by the updater. You can see from the last modified date/time whether that would be useful.

The data in extension storage databases is incomprehensible to me. That is why I suggested exporting sessions from the Tab Session Manager UI earlier in this thread.

I'm so darn tired
"one website is making Firefox slow, do you wanna wait or execute it" or something like that

Its not 1 particular website, its a code for random picked flash-site that you happened to
click on at wrong occasion.

What do you do after you have followed the self-troubleshooting guides you post about
craeting a new profile, disabling addons and themes.....

and the pattern still continue, with Firefox progressive (number of tab switching within a session) and collective flash-video freezes up...(macromedia flash is uninstalled on my windows 7)...
porno and youtube if you have to many tabs of them open, and the need of restarting the session to refresh all flash-windows

(i know its flash....since i have ram-memory tools open, and they wont refresh the picture once you have depleted the "flash-memory session")

Concerning our problems with \storage\default\moz-extension+++[UUID that is unique to your Firefox]

i did atleast in Windows 7 by accident find this folder now

C:\Users\Farbror Njut\Downloads\TabSessionManager - Backup

It contained 5 gb of 128!! json files that have been downloaded as backups for some reason.

Do you by chance have any clues why new backups have stopped arriving to this folder?
cause the folders files last update is from mars 2020 and the first backup json is from 2018

even though tab session manager have uninterrupted been installed on this computer
for both Firefox and Chrome

Well, for one thing, you could stop opening that many tabs at one time. It's not like one can view numerous videos at the same time, no matter how much one may claim to multi-task.

Your new thread on the same topic has been merged into this one.
BTW, your User Agent string doesn't report any version of Firefox when you post here.

Probably the extension makes automatic backup on request. Possibly the setting was lost during an uninstall/reinstall, new profile creation (for example, after a Refresh), or it stopped working. Or termites ate them?

Acctually the app had a backup setting you are forced to activate...thanks to your help-attention since i took for granted in my hyperactivity that such setting could never exist

To view them all at the same time you gotta be Shelob [-o<

So even if its an ongoing streaming? you say that i cant have muliple tabs of them open? and expect no collapse

Yes i was stubborn and created a new sneaky topic in frustration,
since i hope for multiple perspectiv than only yours ;)... even! though i appretiate you are allways trying to help in my previous threads

I have firefox sett to auto-update, so i can take for granted it allways updated....is says Firefox version 79 (64 bits)

Its a disaster thats getting worse, have compromised and have closed down Chrome during
my Firefox session, have tested thsi 30 tabs in safe mode, and its not just the flash-sites that goes down (however the flash sites could be the causer) all pages go white when you try to refresh them
and if inserting a new adress in a new tab, it will not pass the phase of just naming the URL in the left-tray of the browser

Even though it cant be seen in this example pic, ts just the the white-screen
https://www.bildtagg.se/bild/327aez197w1c0373vwzdu2ib
And it wanished after firefox restart

Now im sick of this, so im going to test Opera instead with my tabs
