These imbeciles at mozilla keep making things better in their opinion.

FF80 added some hourglass tab animation when a page loads. I've tried the about:config option ui.prefersReducedMotion set to 1 or 0 it does nothing to disable the hourglass or dot animation.

I've tried this CSS and it also does nothing.
.tab-loading-burst {display: none !important;}

Anyone have any idea how to disable this useless animation option in FF80?

Thanks

figured it out for anyone else who is interested. This game of cat and mouse is absurd with mozillaSoft constantly pushing this UI garbage down our throat.

.tab-throbber[busy] {display: none !important;}

ui.prefersReducedMotion = 0 should give you dots (animating)

ui.prefersReducedMotion = 1 should give you hourglass (non-animating)

Custom style rules can work around either, but the hourglass is done differently than the dots. These are the ones I use to restore the Firefox 56-style tab throbber (circling arrow): https://www.reddit.com/r/FirefoxCSS/comments/igxwgn/replace_hourglass_icon_with_circle/g35339i/
