Anyone Fixed ff v80 with Addons Crashing?
Has anyone here fixed their ff problem with crashing addons? I'm referring to v.80.0.1. Do let me know.

What I understand is that I won’t let this thread turn into a duplicate of that one. You should understand that others don’t necessarily share your view that browsers exist to support your favorite extensions.

I'm confused. This and the other thread are not about my fave extensions. Its about supporting people to get a browser to work properly from crashing all addons, not a select few as youve said mistakenly.DanRaisch wrote:What I understand is that I won’t let this thread turn into a duplicate of that one. When the user frank lion trolled on this thread you failed to say anything to him. Yet you singled me out when I never trolled. Could you explain this?

Again, you're mistaken. Firefox is not crashing "all addons" in any version. I have a few installed and functioning in this profile so I know whereof I speak. And you're other topic was very much in the same vein as the above so there's not a lot of reason to rehash things here.
As for Frank, you have no idea what I may have sent to him via PM.

From this bug it appears it won't be fixed in 80, and it's an 'option' for now if it gets fixed 81...

Re: Anyone Fixed ff v80 with Addons Crashing?
Youre actually wrong. All my addons are crashing and am sure others are experiencing the same symptom. Its possible they dont realize all their addons are crashing if they readily rely on a few while unaware of other 'background' addons. Add to this other users who have also complained that multiple addons are crashing.DanRaisch wrote:Again, you're mistaken. Firefox is not crashing "all addons" in any version. You wish and, yes, you are rehashing your 'tail wags the dog' theory yet again.zlaer wrote:Not rehashing things at all. If youve taken care of frank thats good on your part and am satisfied with your duty.

So you and, what?, two or three other posters in that old thread are seeing problems with extensions that are not compatible with version 80 of Firefox. That's hardly all extensions and certainly not widespread reporting of anything similar. Time to accept it's not the browser but the extensions that are at fault. All my addons are crashing
