Try Firefox from the Mozilla server.

There is a half dozen or more settings for the link dickvl provided
about:config => browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.showSponsored Search for about:config => browser.newtabpage. - some of the items which show can be neutralized. Also look at search; moving to newtabpage. Frankly blocking pretty near everything which uses newtabpage may be helpful Doesn't matter what you say, it's wrong for a toaster to walk around the house and talk to you
