At work, on my 'primary' machine, I was using Fx to view our corporate tenant in Yammer(.com). I had to fiddle with logging into another MS site and that destroyed my stored login for Yammer. Now, I can't login to Yammer again because of an authentication site that it won't load. On my 'secondary' company computer I don't have a problem - Yammer logged in and works fine.
This is the process Yammer goes thru to get to the corp tenant:
yammer.com/login
microsoftonline.com/.../oauth2/...
admc.myco.com <- Fx won't load this site, it times out
admc.myco.com is where I would put in my corp creds as the final gate to login. But on my primary PC it just times out and won't load this particular site.
I've tried all kinds of things but can't figure out why it won't load. What could block a particular site? Where do I look, what can I compare to the working corp PC?
can't browse to a certain URL

Re: can't browse to a certain URL
I'm looking at your user agent string thinking that at work you must be using a different Firefox?
Does that Firefox have DNS over HTTPS enabled? Sometimes the address for a company server is different for internal network and external access and in that case, you can't use DoH for that particular server. You can disable DoH for a quick workaround, or create an exclusion:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fi ... ic-domains

Re: can't browse to a certain URL
Tried placing the site in the W3C Validator both htt
Validator got the following unexpected responses when trying to retrieve admc.myco.com>:
500 Can't connect to admc.myco.com:80 (Name or service not known)
500 Can't connect to admc.myco.com:443 (Name or service not known)
Doesn't appear to matter if it's https or http - must be some other issue.

Doesn't matter what you say, it's wrong for a toaster to walk around the house and talk to you

Grumpus, I used a fake URL for the sake of this post. It is an internal company URL anyway...
