Firefox profile transfer
I upgraded firefox to the latest version on my other computer, and I tried to copy over my FF profile folder. It doesn't seem to change anything at all. I had deleted all profiles using the profile manager beforehand. Just selecing the Default User profile with the copied profile, and nothing has changed. No extensions in the list, just barebones FF. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Firefox profile transfer
Start Firefox on the other computer to create a new profile.
Find that profile on the hard drive.
Open it and delete all contents.
Find the profile you want to copy over.
Open it and copy all the contents.
Paste them into the new profile on the other computer.
That has always worked for me.
If that doesn't work see Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles, or Transferring data to a new profile - Firefox.

For me it is always easiest to identify the right profile is open Firefox.
Enter "about:support" in the url space
Scroll down about 8 lines and click the profile button -- takes you right to the current active profile.

I often take a long windy road to my destination. Upon arrival, I wonder how I missed the shortcut.
