After refreshing, did you add extensions?
What security software are you running on that system?

I'm just running Defender by win 10.
I also have another ff profile with the same extensions and settings and it runs much smoother.
Any ideas?

Re: Slow Loading on New Tabs
When you say "new tab", are you speaking of what FF opens as the "New Tab" page, or more generally any new tab opened regardless of the link?
If the former, try setting FF's "New Tab" to about:blank & see if that helps?

Fire 750, bring back 250.

Re: Slow Loading on New Tabs
I'm speaking about any new tab I open from links. For example, say I'm in a current tab and I click a link to open a new tab. When I go to the new tab whether in 2 secs or 2 minutes later, the page hasnt loaded completely. It then takes 1 - 2 secs to fully load that tab which doesnt happen in my older ff profile.therube wrote:When you say "new tab", are you speaking of what FF opens as the "New Tab" page, or more generally any new tab opened regardless of the link?

If you restart in Safe Mode, does the issue persist?
