Moving to Firefox Support as no specific bug has yet been identified here.

Does the same thing occur if you launch the application in Mozilla Safe Mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode

Hi, thanks, it works in safe mode. Afterward I tried running normally, but also disabled all my extensions and plugins, but then it crashed again.

(I only have the OpenH264 and the Widewine plugins installed though. I guess both of those two are installed by default.)

See if disabling Hardware Acceleration in FF allows the site to load without crashing?

Hardware acceleration and WindowBlinds causes Firefox to crash

Disabling hardware acceleration didn't help.

No. (I tested in FF 78 ESR, Windows.)

Only a guess, but if you're able to change your windows manager, maybe try that?

It probably started crashing in FF 89.0 since I upgraded to 89 yesterday and it suddenly started crashing. I can't remember the last time FF crashed for me. I expect more web pages to crash with this version of FF.

I don't want to log out and change window manager right now. Lots of programs open. I'm using FVWM.

Tried to enable WebRender (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1716114), but it didn't help.

I also tried installing Firefox 88.0.1. That worked, it didn't crash, but the program immediately started to upgrade itself to 89.0, and very soon thereafter asked me to press "restart" to restart. The crashing website (https://ivmmeta.com) was open when I pressed "restart", and immediately after FF had restarted, it crashed.

FWIW the site opens OK here using FF 89.0 running on an openSUSE Leap 15.2 system.

Putting the site into the W3C Validator shows over 108 errors and one serious fatal error and only one warning.
It appears a number of Deprecated Media Features, missing elements and illegal element attributes.
The Fatal Error stopped the review.

Does about:crashes catch the crash?
If so, what are the URLs it gives for a few of them?
