I'm running FF 89.0.2 (64-bit) under Windows 10 20H2.
An NPR audio player is stuck in the upper right corner of my Firefox display like this:
It blocks the text in that portion of the screen, and I can't find a way to disable it.
Any ideas on how to track down where it's coming from and delete it?

Hi Will,
What web site/s does this occur on?
Will help some with the diagnosis.

Hi LIMPET235,
Thanks for the reply! You're right, I should have included the URLs where this occurs. The annoying player appears on the NPR News sites I visit every day, for programs like "Morning Edition" and "All Things Considered" :
https://www.npr.org/programs/morning-edition/
https://www.npr.org/programs/all-things-considered/
You may be able to duplicate the problem by visiting one of those sites and clicking on one of the blue "Listen" buttons that accompanies each of the headlines:
That should cause the NPR Player to pop-up in the upper right corner of the Firefox window. In my case, from that point on, that player would appear by default, every time I visited an NPR News site.

Re: NPR Player Blocks Text in Firefox
In their responsive layout, the fixed-position player stays in its own column/sidebar when the page is wider (1024px or greater), but overlays the player on the main column for narrower page widths. Note that the page width Firefox uses to switch between style rules is modified by your effective zoom level, so if you have a 1264px wide page at 100%, it's treated like a 1053px wide page at 120% zoom. Etc.
