Years ago (before the change in the way add-ons worked) I used an add-on called Cookie Monster that allowed you to determine what cookies a particular site was allowed to set. It was great as you could - with the click of a button - allow or disallow 1st and 3rd party cookies for the site you were viewing.
These days it seems that all you get is a blanket setting in Firefox to allow all or block 3rd part cookies, or you have to jump through hoops and create rules for each and every site.
So what I am asking is if anyone knows of a quick and easy way of controlling the use of cookies for individual sites.
Per site cookie control

Hi,
I don't use any type of Cookie Manager but there are quite a few available...
Perhaps if you tried one or two?

Here are a couple from that page...

Thanks. I have looked at most of those on the Add-ons site, but all they seem to do is let you manage (i.e. delete) the cookies that sites have already stored within Firefox.LIMPET235 wrote:Hi,

With the old Cookie Monster you could have it set to block all cookies, but then if you wished a particular site to be allowed to set a cookie (to remember a log-in for example) all you needed to do was click on the toolbar icon and select the relevant option - a bit like how NoScript works with scripts.

This is the closest to Cookie Monster that I tried...not sure if it meets your requirement. (I used both CookieBro with uMatrix to manage cookies.)

Ashleyj--way back when I used cookie monster also
right now I use cookie auto delete--one of the things I like about it is it has a white and grey list, which works really well. might give it a look see.

Re: Per site cookie control
Had a look at both of those add-ons but, sadly, neither do quite what I'm looking for.
Cookiebro seems to be the closest to what I am looking for but I need to play with it some more to see if I can tune it to do what I want.
