I recently installed FF on my laptop with Windows 10. I have already disabled Pocket and telemetry. Are there any other settings, etc I should change that are recommended? To improve usability, performance, etc, etc.

No. Unless something specific is causing you problems, there's not much reason to mess with the default settings provided during installation.
