Search doesn't open new tab. [Solved.]
When using the "added search bar in toolbar," (FF 94.0.2, 64, Win 11), the search results don't open a new tab as they do in other versions. The search results open in the current tab instead. Is there a setting that can change this behavior?

It appears this option was in the search settings previously but it appears removed.
Open about:config - look for browser.search.openintab, if set to false change to true.
See if that does it.
