What do you guys think about the Firefox Relay addon as a security tool to prevent hackers from getting your email? Its supposed to mask you email. Is it worth installing?

Firefox Relay is here > https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... ent=search
Looks like it may be useful...but I've never used it.
Dunno.
I run Mail Washer Pro.

Re: Is Firefox Relay a Good Security Addon?
Reviews are worth reading.
Description isn't entirely clear.
It's one thing to be able to give someone a (relatively random) email address that you can receive an email into (that others can send to you - without knowing your real email).
It's another thing to be able to send out an email, or reply to someone using that spoofed email address. Not sure if that does this or not or if it's only in the pay version?
(At least in free) your spoofed email is ...@relay.mozmail.com, & reviews note that some "places", knowing that "relay.mozmail.com" is a spoofing service, actively block it.
I guess so long as you understand what it is & what its limitations might be, can't hurt to try.
(BTW, Mozilla will know your real email. So when the NSA comes knocking with that warrant, they'll have to turn it over to them .)
(For someone to send an email to be, I simply use https://trashmail.com/. They [currently] have 3 "domain" names you can choose from. What they may be & how many, has changed over time, I'm guessing for similar reasons noted in the reviews - they particular ones have been "blacklisted".)
