Tab Scrolling Loss, Memory Issues And More

Hi all, I have been racking my brain trying to figure out how to fix all of this. About a week ago firefox started acting strange, even with just 1 tab open it would just keep loading RAM until it was full, then keep going (32 gigs). I reinstalled firefox, didn't work. I kept messing around and somehow I got it to stop doing that. A week later it started doing it again. I reinstalled, but this time the whole interface has changed and I cant get it back. Tab scrolling is gone (that's the main reason I use firefox over all other browsers!). I used to be able to scroll tabs with the mouse wheel, plus there was a little drop down button to view all the tabs, now thats gone. I cant handle 2000 tabs without those features (that and memory management, not loading tabs until I open them).

I would greatly appreciate help in fixing this. This feature is paramount to the way I use my browser.
