Recently whenever I download something the 'display the progress of downloads' panel automatically drops down from the button on the toolbar.
It's the short summary panel, not the separate window you get with CTRL-J.
This is annoying as it takes up screen space and seems to sometimes prevent pages from receiving left/right arrow keyboard presses. Is there a way to stop it from automatically appearing?
Thanks!

In the URL bar enter: about:config
then toggle: browser.download.alwaysOpenPanel default = True toggle to False to turn off panel on download start
