Hey, since I upgraded to a new laptop, Firefox now hides the tab bar by default. When I press alt key, it's shown. If I turn off native window decoration, then its visible, but so is the large ugly window bar, which I don't want to see. Any idea how to change this behaviour so the tab bar is always visible as normal?

I think you answered your own question.
Turn off native window decoration.
I use Fedora 35 Workstation, Gnome 41 desktop on my desktop computer and have a tab bar in all my Firefox versions.
I'd be happy to test if you can tell me where to enable native window decoration.

Thanks @WaltS48 - in the end I have switched from Wayland to X.org and that seems to have fixed the problem. Not sure why. Hope that's helpful for others who experience the same issue.
