Can't See A Lot Of Images on The BBC

Folks, this has been happening for at least a year. When I visit https://www.bbc.com/news, and click on an article, many times in that article I can't see any of the images, so I drag the shortcut to my desktop, click it, and then I can see the images.

any ideas what's going on? This doesn't happen on any other forum and I visit quite a few every day. When I use Chrome this doesn't happen on the BBC site.

I've already asked the BBC and they weren't any help.

Does using Help > Troubleshoot Mode from the Firefox Menu button or bar help?

Walt, I've never even see that. How's it work, I wait until I'm on one of those pages and them do the Troubleshoot mode?

OK that didn't help. I didn't try the Refresh though, don't want to remove my extensions

If you wanted to try the Refresh Option, it's best to back up your Profile first.
Just do a Manual Back up & save it in the same directory.

eg; Copy & Paste will do that. End up with an > Firefoxxxxxxx.copy#1
Close Firefox first.

How to restore the Profile or just the necessary files.
NOTE: Do NOT use MozBackUp....It's way out-of-date & not supported.

OK will try that later but I don't think it's a FF issue because this only happens on one website.

didn't have a problem going there and looking at many different articles. site worked as it should. win7 X 64 FF99.0.1

Right click webpage > Page Info > Permissions > Images...and check that they are set to show.

Frank, when I do that I don't see Page Info? Closest I see is View Page Source.

also I can see some images after I click some of the srticles but it's maybe 30% where I can't see images.

if I drag the shortcut to desktop, click it, then I always can see the images. Wish I could post a s shot here.

My mistake, Joe. It's still in SeaMonkey, but was removed (!) from Firefox a year back, it seems - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1692553

Anyway, if you can see some images, even if only a few, then it's not a Image Permissions problem.

Though as Frank noted Page Info was removed from the context menu, you can still get the 'Page Info' by using: Ctrl+I (control + letter i) on Win 10/11

Ahh, indeed. I've not bothered with the MenuBar in ages... Never use it.
