How to speed bookmark browsing ?

Post by Sebastian42 »

I have many bookmarks, and am frustrated by the one-by-one method of scrolling through the bookmarks - surely there must be something like page-by-page, or some other faster way ... ?

Hi,
Here's a neat extension that may suit...
Opens in the left Sidebar....> View > Sidebar > BM Search + 2.
Type your known? bookmark into the Search Box to find it & click the link to show which folder it's in. (Something like that..anyway.) :)

A neat extension indeed - it's taken me some to to test it, but it seems to fill my need; even though I had expected a method to speed up scrolling, this produces the same desired result but differently.

Hi,
Yes well, it's just a pity that "Show Folder" & "Go Folder" were not updated to work on the later Firefox versions.
T'was a pair of very good & useful extensions.

Note that Firefox 95+ has "Show in Folder" in the right-click context menu of a search result (98+ scrolls the folder into view).
This only works for bookmarks and not for folders.
