merge windows extension does not appear in extension bar

I am running firefox 100.0 on OSX 12.3.1

I installed the merge windows extension and activated it. There is a green check box next to text "Access browser tests". I am unable to see the merge windows icon in the upper right extensions bar. I am not sure why. Any information on how to troubleshoot this? I cant seem to be able to find the extensions icon.

Anybody know how to get the merge windows extension icon visible in the icon menu section please?

I've never used this extension & it's always best to contact the author.

The addon doesn't have the browser_action key in the manifest.json file so there is no button.

The weird thing is I can see the merge windows icon on a FF v100.0 running on another mac just fine.

Okay, I installed the Merge Windows addon.

I don't see a button to the left of the hamburger button on the navigation toolbar.

I see a context menu item with more than one window open.
