Downloading a non-Ypu Tube or non-Vimeo video
I have Windows 10 running FF 75 and wish to keeo 75.
I have ANT downloader to download videos which are not on YT and 2 YT downloaders.
The instructional video created by a friend was posted on Loom but our library is proscribed from accessing Loom. I then tried using the Firefox ANT Downloader but it wouldn't download the video, She then put the video on her business Website but it still would not download with ANT and since it's not a YT video how else can I download that video?
I recall a while back downloading some DOS-like Command software but had little help in what you type in at those command lines to download an non-YT or non-Vimeo video.
Thank you!

Hi ETL,
I suggest that a link to that particular site/video may assist others to help out.
Just a bit hard without it.
However, you may like to try using a different D/L'er.

With loom, or at least the video on this page, https://www.loom.com/share/9edb010ba534 ... 81380cedaa, appears you can simply right-click the video & Save...
Ah, but not all videos, https://www.loom.com/share/0a83902b831f ... ed07dc5cc6.

Works in FF 78, so I would think it would work in FF 75.
There is NO reason to be using FF 75.

Does NOT. I have 75 and Loom never loads - ever - just keeps spinning. I used another browser.

Confirmed.I have 75 and Loom never loads - ever - just keeps spinning.
(https://www.loom.com/ will load, but none of the "/share/" pages.
[Actually, the pages are there, they just don't display anything. Spoofing the UA doesn't help.])

It looks that the JavaScript used on the loom website isn't compatible with you old Firefox 75 version.
You can check the Browser Console for possible JavaScript error messages.
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/doc ... er_Console
Why do you want to use Firefox 75 and not for instance the last Firefox 78 ESR version (78.15.0) that has a lot more security fixes ?

(And granted, 78 ESR is "obsolete" too, but still far better off with that over 75.)

Re: Downloading a non-Ypu Tube or non-Vimeo video
Either create a new Profile - for 78 ESR - disabling updates, or use Portable Edition Legacy 78 & test.
(Backup existing Profile - just in case.)

Re: Downloading a non-Ypu Tube or non-Vimeo video
If I update my FF ver 75 I will lose the Ant Down-loader extension and hence the ability to download a lot of non-YouTube website videos so I'd like to keep ver 75.
An .mp4 file was created on a forum I'd like to download. It downloads with Video Download Helper but only the video, no audio.
I used that -dl file once and then it never worked.
Is there any new video downloading software or FF extension I could use with ver 75?
Thank you.
