Save dialog is huge after updating to version 107
The save dialog box is so wide after updating to 107, anyway to make it smaller?

I haven't updated to 107 but I understand you have to resort to userChrome.css.

Try grabbing the window corner and drag wherever?
Holds window size after.
Holds window size after.

What kind of Firefox is that? And what operating system? I'm guessing there's a theme issue or something like that.

@ReggieNJ
I guess his theme is a Classic Theme for Windows 7.

Can't say I see that (Win7, "Classic" theme, FF 109).
And no, the dialog is not resizable.
Test in http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode.
If that doesn't work, test in a new, clean Profile.
Perhaps it has something to do with the particular link?

(In my case, "Classic" is what is built in to Windows, not Winaero. [I also have most all other "gimmicks", visual effects, turned off.])

Fire 750, bring back 250.

Re: Save dialog is huge after updating to version 107
Actually it does.
(Didn't really know about such things & had to figure out how to "use it".
Appears that while it's "pointer" is visible, you use the arrow keys to resize the dialog.)
And while you can resize it, that sizing does not stick.
(So the next time the dialog comes up, it is at its' original size. I'm on Win7, if that should matter.)
.
.
(I posted a link to a "torrent site", above, & if you click the 'torrent file' link there, you should get the popup - assuming you don't have a default set for torrents.
I would think, the OP should be see the same for any type of download that FF does not have a default for?
Note that his screenshot says, "Settings can be changed in Firefox's Options.", which mine does not show?)

Is that window present in xulstore.json ?
If that is the case then try to rename or remove xulstore.json in the profile folder.

I guess that window has the chrome://mozapps/content/downloads/unknownContentType.xhtml url.

When I click size, the arrow then turns into the cursor that lets you move the window, but not resize it, I'm on Windows 7 too.

Re: Save dialog is huge after updating to version 107
Sorry, the link I posted previously related to a different window. The save dialogue has apparently fallen foul of the solution to a bug report. The issue has now been mentioned elsewhere.

The problem seems to have resolved it self, I don't know how, but it did, this is before updating to 107.0.1
