After updating to version Fiefox 107.0.1 (64-bit), something goes wrong. Some sites say Server not found.
I googled for an answer to my question, but without much success. Please, help!

Moving to Firefox Support as no bug has yet been identified here.

Re: Server not found
One quick easy test is to ping the server. It should work with every valid server currently online.
Open a CMD or DOS window
Type at the C:\> prompt:
ping servername.com
For example:
Success will yield:
ping yahoo.com
Pinging yahoo.com [2001:4998:24:1:0] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 2001:4998:24:1:0: time=136ms
Reply from 2001:4998:24:1:0: time=94ms
Reply from 2001:4998:24:1:0: time=96ms
Reply from 2001:4998:24:1:0: time=109ms
Ping statistics for 2001:4998:24:1:0:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 94ms, Maximum = 136ms, Average = 108ms
Failure will yield:
ping funnyplacy.com
Ping request could not find host funnyplacy.com. Please check the name and try again.

I often take a long windy road to my destination. Upon arrival, I wonder how I missed the shortcut.

Re: Server not found
~ Are you going through a proxy server?
===
~ I believe most users have made some modifications to Firefox. Some subtle, some complicated. That is why it is often suggested to create a clean profile (same firefox but no mods applied).
Or click on the Firefox menu Help > Troubleshoot mode > Restart Firefox. Almost everything is removed for the restart and will be returned when you restart again.
Profile:
Most simple way for me:
Shut down firefox completely.
Start > Run and enter Firefox -p
This will launch the profile manager
Create a TestProfile
Hilight it and Click Start Firefox at the bottom
Try the same sites
If they succeed the problem resides in the configuration or modifications in your daily profile.
If they fail the problem is likely your internet connection or some configuration in Windows

Re: Server not found
I don't know how I did it. I tried all settings, used all your tips, and then suddenly came an update to V.108.0.1, and it all worked
