Nags to update Firefox when already up-to-date

These misguided nags occur repeatedly. Is there any way to stop them?

The current release is Firefox 111.0.1, released a few days ago to address some issues

odin2 i am glad you mentioned it because i saw the same thing.

i manually updated firefox to build 111.0.1 but then, later, i got a prompt to update firefox.

i meant to dismiss the prompt to update firefox but somehow things got confused and the update was downloaded through the updater where i then was seeiing a prompt to restart firefox, to complete the update, which i did.

Thanks, dickvl--but why did Fx say it was up-to date if it wasn't?
