I'm having a problem. I don't know if an update caused it. I cannot get the Extensions logo to move back to the menu bar, or even into the Customize Toolbar section. I had it on the Menu Bar, but now somehow it's in the section next to the url box.
I decided to use the Restore Defaults in the Customize Toolbar section to see if the logo would go back into the Customize Toolbar section, but it didn't work.
On top of that, now all of my extension shortcuts on the bookmark toolbar are gone. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling one of them to see if the logo would go back on the toolbar, but that didn't work either.

Re: Extension Icon Missing from Customize Toolbar section
Hi,
Try running in Firefox "Safe Mode".
This disables your extensions & uses the default theme for fault finding.
NB: Your plug-ins are not disabled.
If Firefox is O.K. in Safe Mode then it's an extension or Theme causing it.
Run Firefox in normal mode & disable them all. Re-start Firefox.
Enable each in turn, or by ½'s, re-starting Firefox each time, till the faulty extension is found.
Either update or un-install it.

Are you talking about the unified extensions button? (new feature in Firefox 109)

I thought the unified extensions button couldn't be removed from the nav bar. The extensions.unifiedExtensions.enabled pref doesn't exist in Firefox 113.

Re: Extension Icon Missing from Customize Toolbar section
I haven't run it in safe mode yet.
Also, as I mentioned in the OP, none of the icons for my extensions are on the toolbar. It's as if they all disappeared into thin air.
Yes, that's the one. The one that looks like a jigsaw puzzle.morat wrote:Are you talking about the unified extensions button? (new feature in Firefox 109)

Maybe the new feature reset the addon buttons.
You can click a gear button in the unified extensions button popup, then click the "Pin to Toolbar" menu item to add an addon button to the nav bar.

Re: Extension Icon Missing from Customize Toolbar section
Thanks, guys! Using the extensions button (jigsaw puzzle icon) to open the browser into the extension panel, then clicking on each gear button to access the Pin to Toolbar option worked! I was also able to place my preferred icons onto the Bookmarks Bar. After that, I was then able to move the two icons (Bookmark Search+ 2, and, Switch to Previous Active Tab) to the Menu Bar after opening Customize Toolbar.
However, I'm still not able to move the Extension Button to either the Menu Bar, Bookmarks Barr, or even the Customize Toolbar panel. It's now evident to me that the new version caused the whole problem. I hope that the devs change it so that the Extension Button can be moved to the aforementioned areas.

The extensions button is immovable in Firefox 109-112. In Firefox 113, it can be moved along the main toolbar in Customize mode, similar to the Back button, but not to any other bar or off the bars.Wiggam72 wrote:However, I'm still not able to move the Extension Button to either the Menu Bar, Bookmarks Barr, or even the Customize Toolbar panel.
