Remove custom search engine to Firefox toolbar search

Post by TheoryOfRevolt »

I'd like to remove some of the custom search engines on my Firefox "google" search toolbar. There are several that I do not use and would like to get rid of since it only makes my list longer, and that annoys me. First off, is it possible? Secondly, if so, how do I go about removing the ones that I want to? Thanks in advance for all help.

I like birds. But when spiders start eating birds that's a little creepy.

Hi Theory.
You can remove them by going to the program folder(i.e. Program Files
in Windows), in the searchplugins folder, and deleting the .src, .gif, and .png files.

SearchPluginHacks 0.1 extension adds a context menu to the search plugins drop-down list, which allows quickly deleting unneeded plugins.
