view-source question

Post by neilm »

How do I change editor when I click view-source on a webpage, I know in IE it was "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\View Source Editor\Editor Name". but I have no idea what it is in Mozilla Firebird, can anyone help me change the editor please?

Thanks.

You may try to install extention MozEx (http://texturizer.net/firebird/extensions/#mozex), or MozEdit (http://texturizer.net/firebird/extensions/#mozedit)
or go to: Tools -> Options -> Extentions -> Get New Extentions
to find the one you like and install it. It's quite simple.

I had MozEx installed. If you try it, please note that MozEx doesn't replace the default viewer. after you right click the mouse, go down to the list and click MozEx. Then the Page source will load in the editor of your choice. Notepad is working fine and I haven't encountered any major problem. I guess MozEdit may be better, but it seems too big to me.

I think future build of MozFb should consider including one of these as built-in editor.

Good luck hunting, IWM.
