Mozilla not working right.

Hi guys i need. Help im running mozilla with windows and with a cable modem and it seems to be running a little horribly. In the begining it was ok but many times now when i click on links it will tell me that its timing out and i cant connect to that page. Am i doing something wrong. It my utmost belief that windows wants only ie6 to be the only browser. Has anyone experienced the same problem or is it just me. And also does anyone now how to fix it. I do like mozilla alot but if it continues to act poorly ill have to remove it again. Thanks for any help. Dimitrios
