Firebird Extensions

I have two of the Firebird extensions installed, 'Cards' and 'Block Fall'.
['Cards' is a set of Solitare games and 'Block Fall' is (of course) a Tetris type game.]
These both will run even after Firebird is closed.
Is there a way to start them without starting the browser?
...maybe from a icon on the desktop?

create shortcuts to MozillaFirebird.exe with the following command line params:

-chrome chrome://cards/content/

-chrome chrome://blockfall/content/

This worked nicely with Block Fall, but not ok with Cards.
I created a shortcut to Firebird like this: MozillaFirebird.exe -chrome chrome://cards/content/

When I click on it, Cards comes up blank and there is nothing in the Games drop down menu.

How can I make it work?
