I believe that this is more of a Linux based question but I didn't notice it until I started DL'ing a few things. When I DL something I specify the directory that I want it to go to. The directory that I specify I own and have the umask set to 0666, yet when the file is DL'd, the permissions are set at 600. This directoy can be mounted and used by other users wither by NFS or SMB, and when other users outside of myself try to copy or move the file, they are restrcited from doing so.
Long story short is how do I set up the directory so that when files are DL'd there, that any user can copy or move those files without me haveing to chmod'ing them every time?
Thanks in advance
