yesterdays news

everytime i look up my typical daily news website today in firefox i get the page for yesterday's news. when i go to the same site in internet explorer i get todays news so i don't think it is the site. i was messing around a little but not much in options and about:config and i didn't know exactly what i was doing, so did i do someting wrong when i had the news site up in the brower or something??!
