firebird downloader

Hi,
Just installed Firebird....good browser but hate the downloader, it's way too sloooow.
Can get twice the speed from flashget.
So is there any way to turn off the inbuilt downloade, so I can continue using Flashget??

get the flashget opera plugin and then you can use it to control your downloads.
