Question about proxy settings

Post by tgardiner »

When specifying "No proxy for", is there a way to exclude whole networks or subnets based on IP. In IE, you can specify "192.168.1.*" or something similar to that. I need to exclude basically a whole class B network, but it isn't working.

Have you tried "192.166.*" ?

I have no idea if that will work, but it would be my first guess.

It should need the zero as well. 192.168.1.0/24 will definately work. (Of course, for a class B, try 172.16.0.0/16)
