Did you install any extensions? Have you used Firebird before? If so, then you need a new profile.

My friend had it running on their computer, I just copied it onto my usb key and then dropped it on my desktop and ran it from there. I do have a old Netscape 4 installation on my computer. Would it be trying to use that profile?
I don't know how to create a new profile. The program will not start up and I assume it would need to be running
before I could make a new profile.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

You should be able to, using the RUN command, start the Firebird Profile manager this way:Anonymous wrote:My friend had it running on their computer, I just copied it onto my usb key and then dropped it on my desktop and ran it from there. "C:\Program Files\mozilla.org\MozillaFirebird\MozillaFirebird.exe" -p
(You need to find the actual location on your computer, of course). If that works, then select Manage Profiles, create a new one, see if Fbird will start with that new profile.
