Netscape is discontinued. Netscape has an older version of the rendering engine that Firebird has.

Thanks, I'm new to all this. When a web accelerator is said to work with Netscape, is there any reason it wouldn't work with Firebird?

Thanks

They are both built on the Mozilla's core code and
Gecko layout engine. Firebird is built on Mozilla's Gecko
technology, giving you industry leading standards compliance
and speedy page display.

yes, there are reasons it wouldn't work with firebird. it really depends on how it is programmed. you can either try it yourself, or contact the developer and ask.
