Use of Tabbed Browsers

Post by WhyNotJava »

Hi - First Firebird Rocks! It is now my default browser on all systems.

Now my question - In mozilla there are several things you can do with tabbed browsing which i found most helpful.

1. Being able to set mouse and keyboard for open in tab (like middle button click for example)

2. Being able to set open in tab as default behavior (or did i just dream this? ;-)

Thanks for any light anyone can shed on this -

Rock on -

Hi There,

1. Middle mouse button does this by default.

2. You'll need an extension such as "Tab Preferences" which lets you set this as the default.

Cheers.

TabBrowser Extentions(TBE) is a powerfull (but too powerfull for beginers?) extention for tabbed browsing.
I do not want to use Mozilla/Filrebird without TBE.
See a thread in Extention forum, http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=39523, and get TBE from owner's site.

Please note that old version of TBE does not work with latest nightly builds of Firebird as the Extention forum thread says.
Read abobe thread and use latest version of TBE.
