Hi!

I've downloaded the zip file for installation. (I have Windows 2000 OS). Then, I click on MozillaFirebird.exe file. I then get a message that says:

The dynamic link library xpcom.dll could not be found in the specified path....and then it gives the path where I guess it should be located....

Am I doing something wrong or is my PC missing something? Or am I not clicking on the right .exe file?

Any help is sure appreciated :-).

Make sure when you unzipped it you maintained the folder structure - there should be a number of folders under the one you unzipped the file to.

IF not, unzip it again and make sure that the folder structure is maintained - in Winzip there is a checkbox to set this.

Thanks for the help. In WinZip under the folders tab, Here are the options and what I have checked. I did not see the exact wording your reply had, but here's what I have checked off. Does this seem right? Thanks!

Start-up folder:

System Default
Last Open Archive--This is the one I have checked
Volder

Extract folder:

Open archive folder
Last extract folder--This is the one I have check
Folder

Add folder;

Open archive folder
Last add Folder --This is the one I have checked
Folder

Nevermind--I figured out I had to extract it choose "use folder names." It works great now--thanks a million!
